Dorothy began painting in 1973 with instructor Liz Wilcox. After taking lessons from the late Robert Percival started painting mostly in watercolour.He encouraged the loose technique I use today. I like plain air painting when the weather permits. I have had instruction from the late Charles Reid. I have taught a few local groups in Halifax, such as the Atlantic Area Artists and the Needham Group. My solo shows have been in Saint John,N.B. and at the follow galleries in Halifax: Duke of Argyle.Emberly Gallery,Swoon Gallery. I paint in Acrylics quite often now. Currently showing at the Teichert Gallery in Halifax.
