Connecting with Finance

As folks will now know, we are again a search position for a new Financial Controller. In the interim, there will be some changes in our communications strategy.

In general, any questions, concerns, or transfer of information (including Parochial Returns and CEWS reports) should be directed to info.finance@nspeidiocese.ca. For non-emergencies, please allow 2 to 5 business days for a response. We understand that emergencies happen and remain committed to working with you to find solutions as they arise.

Connecting with Diocesan Staff

Beginning Monday, April 11th, Sarah Slopek will be working from the reception area in our Diocesan Offices. Sarah is a contract administrative assistant who will be helping us with phones, filing, and data input as we navigate changes in Finance and as we work to complete our annual audit. We are also taking this opportunity to manage some long-overdue file, database, and information transfer updates.

Please take a moment to welcome Sarah when you call in… yes, the phones will be answered again! Monday to Thursday, 10 am to noon and 1 pm to 3 pm, you will be able to connect with a real person to help direct your inquiries. You may still call outside of these hours and use our automated system and leave messages. We also ask that you direct general email inquiries to office@nspeidiocese.ca. Again, a 2 to 5 day response time is expected unless your correspondence is of an urgent nature. Our hope is that both of these avenues of contact make your communication experience with Diocese helpful and efficient.
