Video recordings of the Missional Imagination Conference 2025 are available for viewing.
The online event hosted Jan. 30 and Feb. 1, featured TED-style talks from 15 speakers - overseers, diocesan missioners, and practitioners leading specific mission initiatives. More than 100 people gathered to explore, reflect, and engage with mission initiatives, innovating ways to renew and transform church communities through intentional engagement with those who had no experience of Christianity and those who had left churches.
Talk themes included:
-
The role of missional communities in revitalizing Anglican parishes.
-
Mixed ecology models—blending traditional and emerging church expressions.
-
Theological reflections on mission in a rapidly changing cultural landscape.
-
The Missional Journey as a theoretical basis for the practice of mission.
-
Practical case studies of mission initiatives in Canada.
The conference was hosted by a team of collaborators - diocesan missioners and directors of congregational development from the Anglican dioceses of Niagara, Toronto, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, and Kootenay.
