9:30 and 11 a.m.
This Sunday we begin our Advent journey. The word ‘advent’ means ‘coming’. It is a time of waiting, with anticipation, for the coming of the Christ Child at Christmas. At our 9:30 and 11 am services we will light a new candle each week, symbolizing, Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. As the days grow shorter, the light grows stronger. I hope you can join us for the journey; at 9:30 as we explain the symbolism of the wreath for children, or at 11 am, where we express the ‘journey’ aspect of the season with procession and the singing of the traditional “O Antiphons”.
