WHO ARE WE?

We are a two-point (two church) parish that is part of the Diocese of Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island in the Anglican Church of Canada.

We are an active, vibrant, and growing parish that seeks to find and know Jesus Christ in our worship together, in our mutual love of one another, and in our service to our communities and those in need.

We offer many opportunities for worship, but our worshiping life together centres upon Sunday mornings when we gather to hear God’s word and receive the Holy Eucharist.

As Anglicans, we draw from the rich spiritual and devotional heritage of the Book of Common Prayer but also employ more contemporary forms of worship and music on a regular basis.

Outside of Sunday mornings we seek to have our faith and our hearts formed by prayer, study, and fellowship, and we offer regular Bible studies and faith-growing courses throughout the year.

Our parish has a long history of outreach to our communities and support of other local ministries that do charitable work. We host a monthly community breakfast in our parish hall, as well as provide volunteers on a regular basis to the Salvation Army soup kitchen.

In September of 2016 we welcomed our new Rector, The Rev’d Colin Nicolle and his wife Shannon, into our parish and are excited to see how the parish may grow under his leadership. To read more about Rev’d Nicolle, click here.
