Check your email!

Check your email!

Staff have been spending these past few months becoming familiar with and inputting data into our new internal database.

As you can imagine having all this data in one spot will improve information management, enhance and streamline communication.

To make sure we have everyone in correctly and before we start to use the database for communication to you - we wish to run a test. Jana will be sending out an email to all clergy tomorrow morning from our new database. She asks that if by Friday you have not received the email (and have checked your junk folder) please send her an-email at bishopsoffice@nspeidiocese.ca so that she may follow up with you. Doing this step will hopefully avoid any issues in any future communication from us.

Once the office receives all the 2020 Parish Information forms and they are all entered into our system, she will be sending a test as well to Treasurers and Wardens.

Thank you so much for your continued patience and support.

3 Unique Gifts of the Rural Church

Author Allen Stanton says "rural churches are uniquely positioned to be agents of change within their communities. Most are trusted long-term community stakeholders, and on any given Sunday people from a wide range of occupations and life circumstances are sitting in their pews."  Published by the Lewis Centre for Church Leadership.

Diocese of the Windward Islands

Diocese of the Windward Islands

I had the pleasure of Ministry in the Diocese of the Windward Islands in the first 6 months of 2010.  I was assigned to a four point parish in Grenville, Grenada ( The Parish of St. Andrew’s).  During my time I spent 3 days in St. Vincent for a clergy conference with Bishop Leopold Friday.  Part of the time included a tour of the island.  A number of my clergy friends in Grenada were actually from St. Vincent.
