We will gather at the Citadel Community Center/High School grounds, entering at the checkpoint on Trollop Street by 11:00am, July 19th, when the street closures begin. There is no parking at the gathering grounds.

The Anglican Foundation of Canada (AFC) is inviting Anglicans across Canada to establish or expand community ministry partnerships in this year’s Request for Proposals (RFP). Having funded hundreds of community ministry projects across Canada, AFC knows what it takes to build successful partnerships in priority impact areas, such as food security, social justice, leadership and education, arts enrichment, and more. Through grant reports and testimonials, applicants are sharing with AFC their positive experiences working with a variety of partners, including other churches and faith groups, not-for-profit organizations, schools and community educators, and small businesses.

Due to a recent cancellation, Church of the Nativity in Sandy Cove is seeking a priest in good standing to lead worship on the following Sundays:

We require the celebration of BAS Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday. In exchange, accommodation will be provided at our Rectory at no cost. Sandy Cove is a beautiful and peaceful seaside community, offering many opportunities for rest and exploration between services.

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a four-year program for laypeople exploring Scripture, theology, and church history in small groups with trained mentors—now offered in a newly revised format, EfM: Classic. A new one-year option, EfM Wide Angle, offers a taste of all four years and can be joined in various formats, including online.

Therefore We Have Hope, the theme of our Diocesan Synod 2025, is evident in the Anglicans Powering Potential's Say Yes! to Kids 2025 campaign: Say Yes! to Advocacy for Youth: Standing with Survivors, Investing in Hope. Anglicans Powering Potential is partnering with the YWCA in support of its Nova Scotia Transition and Advocacy Youth (NSTAY) program that 

offers a range of supports for youth who are, or have been, exploited or trafficked, to help them in exiting unsafe situations, healing from trauma, and planning for the future.

I ask for your assistance: fill it out for yourself, if you are currently serving or are open to serve as a Spiritual Director; as well as sharing it with others you know in the community who are ministering in this capacity.
We will be looking to know such details as availability (day/evenings/weekends); in-person/online/telephone; willingness to take new directees; and, interest in becoming part of a group for further training opportunities.

Tune In With Yourself, With One Another, and With God

For this year's Diocesan Youth Camp (DYC), we are headed off to Big Cove Camp in Sutherlands River, Nova Scotia, for a weekend full of climbing high and low ropes, exploring our creativity, talking about prayer, worshipping together, and having lots of fun!

DYC is for youth in grades 7 to 12, and while we are still figuring out the fine details, registration is open now!

The Anglican Church of the Holy Spirit in Dartmouth is accepting applications for the position of Organist / Pianist. This is a part-time position starting in August. The successful applicant will be required to provide professional musical services on organ and/or piano during the 10 a.m. Sunday service as well as special services (e.g. Christmas, weddings, and funerals) throughout the year. This is a paid position.
