On October 26th, Lawrence and the Parish of St. Luke’s Dartmouth hosted a webinar entitled Faithful Ventures: Transforming Your Church’s Mission with Social Enterprise.

Our churches play a vital role in our communities, serving as pillars of hope, faith, and support. In recent times, many churches have faced challenges and it is essential to explore new, innovative ways to sustain and expand the impact of our ministries.

During this webinar, we will introduce the concept of social enterprises and discuss how they can empower your church to make a lasting difference in your community while addressing the needs of your congregation. Social enterprises offer an opportunity to create sustainable revenue streams that can support your church's missions and outreach efforts.

Future offerings will include:

November 30, 2023 - Successful Case Studies: You'll learn about organizations that have embraced social enterprise models, and hear their inspiring success stories.

January 2024 - Exploring Opportunities: A brainstorming session to identify potential social enterprise ideas that align with your church's mission and values.

February 2024 - Steps to Startup: a four week course to help you develop a business plan to get started with your social enterprise.

We believe that these webinars can serve as a catalyst for transforming your church's mission, connecting you with innovative ideas, and inspiring a new chapter in your ministry. Together, we can explore new avenues to strengthen our churches and their vital roles in our communities.
