St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 9 Veterans Avenue, Dartmouth, is seeking a music director to begin September 1, 2022.
The position is for 6 hours per week and salary is negotiable based on experience. The successful candidate will be someone who: will provide meaningful musical leadership for the Sunday morning worship, is familiar with liturgical music of the church, especially the Anglican Church of Canada, is able to accompany singing on both the organ and piano, is able to direct four-part choral singing, is able to instruct singers in four-part choral singing, is trustworthy, patient, organized, helpful, enthusiastic, is able to communicate expectations with sensitivity, can work with a variety of musical abilities, will participate in pre-hiring screening and post-hiring screening measures, and is an encourager.
