The Anglican Church Women Diocesan Board is happy to share the news that it will soon have awarded more than $10,000 in bursary funds for 2022/23 to 9 successful candidates.
Four postulants studying at AST received bursaries from the Kingston Memorial Fund on December 7, 2022: Blane Finnie, Ruth MacNeil, Rob Paddock, and Ginny Wilmhoff.
The Board approved continuing education bursaries (Anniversary Bursary) for five Anglican women: Natasha Bejarano; St. John's, Truro; Adriel Driver, St. Paul's, Halifax; Sarah Griffin, St. George's, Halifax; Annie MacQueen, The Collieries, Glace Bay; and Cynthia Stilwell, St. Francis by the Lakes, Lr. Sackville.
Studies for the women are in education, health, and theology, with 3 pursuing master's degrees. We wish all our bursary recipients every success with their studies and ask that you uphold them in prayer.
We are very appreciative that the Board has endowed funds that make these bursaries possible.
