Announcements

We are saddened to share the news that The Reverend Robert Richmond died on Monday, October 11th, 2021. Robert has served our Diocese in a variety of Parishes and ministries throughout his lifetime. He will be greatly missed among us all. His support for his colleagues, his music and his pastoral presence will forever be remembered. Funeral arrangements are underway, however, due to Covid-19 protocols, attendance will be limited. Our thoughts and prayers are with Robert's wife Narda and all of his family at this time. May they all be surrounded with God’s love and compassion.

Rest eternal grant to Robert, O Lord,

and let light perpetual shine upon him.

May his soul, and the souls of all the departed,

through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Synod Office Updates

As a result of staffing changes due to retirements over the past ten months, Jana Gauthier’s role in the Diocesan Office has been redeveloped. She now carries the title of Diocesan Executive Administrator. This role increases the scope of Jana’s work beyond administrative assistance to include the website and Information Technology management responsibilities that had previously been handled by Jan Connors, as well as the duties of the Registrar previously handled by Janice Roby. We look forward to working with Jana in this expanded role and thank her for her willingness to take on these added tasks and responsibilities during one of the most challenging times in our Diocese’s history.
