The Tuesday following the shopping showdown, Black Friday, is growing as a wonderful opportunity to consider how to make a difference this holiday season.
Giving Tuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering. It's become known as the, “Opening day of the giving season.” Our congregations are engaged in plenty of ministries that changes lives - serving meals, knitting mittens, Missions to Seafarers Shoeboxes, prison phone ministry, advocating for justice issues like Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ2+ inclusion, and care for the environment (to name a few). How can you tell those stories and encourage people in your neighbourhoods to get involved too?
