That's what Community Roots is all about!

All of our camps are FREE to attend, and are open to all children aged 6 to 12, regardless of whether or not they have any connection to church.

If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to be in touch with us at youthandfamily@nspeidiocese.ca

Wondering what a week of camp looks like?

Our camps are all unique, as they reflect the local community that they happen in, but they do tend to follow a pretty similar rhythm of each day being filled with worship, hearing a story, time to explore in create, discover, and play, community activities (things like learning a skill from someone in the community or going to a splash pad), and of course, lots of time for fun and games. Some of our camps are only half days, but here's an example of what a week of full day camp might look like.

If you have any other questions, check out our FAQs.

We are grateful to the Anglican Foundation of Canada for funding this program through both their Say Yes! to Kids campaign and their regular grant program. Find out about the 2022 edition of that campaign here
