Anglican Church Women (ACW)
The Anglican Church Women is a group who raises funds throughout the year to provide assistance to people in need and support the church. Our ACW supports Hope Cottage and Phoenix House Outreach as well as individual families in need at Christmas time. They maintain contact with shut in parishioners through Valentine and Christmas Cards. They also provide catering services for Funerals and other special occasions.
Regular & Special Events
Spring Fair
The annual Spring Fair is held in early May. The Fair offers a variety of new-to-you items, children's games, baked goods, silent auction and hot dogs for lunch.The event is open to the public and brings together members of the parish and the surrounding community.
Wine Tasting
A wine tasting event is held in November each year. A variety of wines and beers are a available to sample along with smoked salmon, cheese and crackers. A silent auction offers gift baskets, cakes, gift cards and a variety of donated items. The event has grown in popularity with the neighborhood and members of other churches in the area. Tickets are available close to the date of the event.
Memorial Service
A joint Memorial Service is held in October with St James Armdale. The meaningful and heartfelt service is hosted alternately at each church, in 2025 at Apostles Anglican. Parishoners choose from a variety of hymns to dedicate to loved ones that have passed away. A time of fellowship is held following the serive at a reception.
