CONGREGATIONS & COLLABORATIONSix Minute Study #308 Ministry is always about relationships. Now with many parish leaders considering big-picture redevelopment or even smaller ways to collaborate, building friendships and networking can add not only value to enriching our neighbourhoods, but also to our congregations and their bottom line. Read this fascinating article called, Fiscal Woes? Not with Well-Structured Partnerships, written by G. Jeffrey MacDonald (published by Living Church). It presents some ideas about what these partnerships might look like. For more infomation visit: |

Canadian Church Calendar 2023 Ordering AlertAnglican Church Women The Anglican Church Women Diocesan Board will not be coordinating the Canadian Church Calendar orders for sale to the parishes this fall (2022) or into the future. Fortunately, it is possible for parishes/churches to order the Canadian Church Calendars directly from the Anglican Church of Canada (ACC) e-store: www.anglican.ca/calendar So, starting in the fall of 2022, churches and parishes will need to place their Canadian Church Calendar 2023 order directly with the ACC e-store. It is to be noted that the Canadian Church Calendar 2023 is not showing yet (August 24) on the Anglican Church of Canada on-line e-store webpage. The ACC e-store service offers many benefits: It is possible to secure 25 plus calendars at very good value and there is free ground shipping as long as the subtotal (pre-tax amount) of the calendar order is $50! This is only 10 calendars! Free ground shipping is an obvious benefit! Placing an order with the ACC’s e-store means that the order is pre-paid with a credit card at the time of placing the order. Ordering is done on-line.

Will Power: Keep the Love Going
Will Power: Keep the Love Going Will Power (Volonté de faire in Quebec) is a cross-country initiative designed to inspire Canadians to think differently about giving and consider a gift to charity in their Will. And this is AFTER leaving most of their estate behind for loved ones. If enough Canadians got on board and donated just a small percentage of their estate to charity, it could mean as much as $40 billion for the causes we all care about. Throughout the months of September and October our diocese along with the rest of Canada, will be focused on this initiative to inspire everyday Canadians to consider a gift in their Will. To learn more visit WillPower.ca. Most of us spend a lifetime contributing to a cause that’s close to our heart, such as the your church and our diocese. But more and more Canadians are going one step further to leave a gift to charity in their Will. You can make a bigger contribution than you ever thought possible, without using any of the money you need now. You don’t have to choose between loved ones and charity when leaving a gift in your Will. Even 1% of your estate left to charity can result in a BIG gift, while still leaving 99% for loved ones. Get helpful tips on turning your Will into a powerful tool and visit willpower.ca. Find resources on financial planning and Will writing to help you save on taxes and get the most out of your charitable giving. Want more information or have questions, please connect with Gillian Doucet Campbell, member of our diocesan Stewardship Committee, by emailing gilliandc@eastlink.ca or call 902-406-8978.
