SIX-MINUTE STUDY #261YEARNING FOR YOUNGSTERS Church is different for families with children today. For years we had bustling Sunday School programs and the kids were separated from the adults. Now more children arrive on Sundays with their grandparents, and we have multi-generational gatherings. There are a variety of ways parish leaders can connect with kids as they join the worshipping community. Read Wycliffe College's Rev. Dr. Judy Paulsen's article called, Reimagining Children in Worship. https://institute.wycliffecollege.ca/2021/07/reimagining-children-in-worship/ Reimagining Children in Worship Judy is also an Institute of Evangelism Mentor and can help your church to better work with organizational culture.. Judy will help churches assess their overall approach to mission (examining such artifacts as their budget, annual report, Sunday order of service, and organizational structures) and help them begin to reshape their common life in order to better share the faith. institute.wycliffecollege.ca For more infomation visit:

Dear PWRDF Parish Representatives, Rectors and Friends of PWRDF:
I hope you are all well and staying safe. As our vaccination rates continue to climb in the region we are seeing signs and indications that life is returning to some form of normalcy. In this connection, I am pleased to share with you that our Annual Diocesan Gathering has been scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2021. The agenda is still to be finalized but I can confirm staff from PWRDF as well as Bishop Sandra will be participating. We will, once again, plan to have some interactive time to allow for us to share and learn from one another. This has become a popular feature of the Gathering. We do have physical space reserved for the event in the Diocesan Centre in Halifax but also plan to allow “virtual” participation via Zoom. Of course, meeting in person will be dependent on COVID restrictions at the time. In order to help us plan, it would be helpful if you could participate in the short survey using the link below. https://forms.gle/mQoaoE8udZNy97X27 Thanks in advance for your help. Warm regards, Chris Pharo, PWRDF Diocesan Representative (NS/PEI) For more infomation visit: http://nspeidiocese.ca/events/pwrdf-annual-diocesan-gathering/2021-11-06

Canadian Church Calendar 2022
The Anglican Church Women Diocesan Board will be ordering the Canadian Church Calendar 2022 for distribution to the parishes. However, there is also the option for parishes to order directly from the Anglican Church of Canada (ACC) e-store www.anglican.ca/calendar. We ask that parishes using that option (of ordering directly from ACC for the 2022 calendar), that have been ordering calendars from the Board in the past, e-mail the Board regarding that decision to make the switch (acw.nsboard@gmail.com) by July 31, 2021. The Board needs to have a clearer sense of the number of calendars to order. Thank you. For more infomation visit: http://nspeidiocese.ca/events/canadian-church-calendar-2022/2021-06-29
