Announcements from the Bishop's Office

The Reverend Tricia Ingram has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of the Parish of Tangier effective immediately.

The Reverend Judi Philips has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of the Parish of North Sydney effective February 1st, 2021. She will continue as Priest-in-Charge of the Parish of New Germany until February 15th.

Archdeacon Katherine Bourbonniere has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of Holy Trinity Emmanuel effective immediately

The Reverend Shirley Carras has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of the Parish of Holy Spirit Dartmouth effective immediately

Celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

“Abide in my love and you shall bear much fruit” (John 15:5-9) - Monday, January 25, 2021

On Monday, January 25th at 12:15pm (the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul), you are welcome to gather in-person or online for an ecumenical service celebrating the new ministry of Archbishop Brian J. Dunn, Archbishop of Halifax-Yarmouth, and commemorating The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The service will be held at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica and is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. An early arrival is recommended as registration at the door is required. Parking is available in the lot beside (but not behind) the Basilica with entry from Grafton Street. You may also participate online via the website for the Archdiocese: www.halifaxyarmouth.org

Altar Sized - Monday, January 18, 2021

 

St. Mary's Anglican Church, Belleisle (part of the Parish of Bridgetown NS) is seeking a Revised Common Lectionary Gospel Book (altar sized).  If there is a Parish or Church that has one which is not in use and would be willing to give it to St. Mary's, we would be most grateful to receive it.  We can tell you that our little Church will make regular weekly use of it.  Please contact our Rector, The Rev.
