October 1st, 2021

In light of the ongoing concerns for the health and wellbeing of our clergy and people as we move through the fourth wave of Covid-19, the Diocese has prepared guidelines for all of the parishes in our Diocese, effective Monday, October 4th. These guidelines will be reviewed regularly in light of changing public health information, requirements and recommendations about Covid-19 in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

We recognize that at this point in the pandemic, many are weary, including some of our clergy and lay leaders. Some of our parishioners may be feeling isolated and anxious. Not everyone is able to access the supports they would normally seek. Please reach out as you are able to clergy, lay leaders and parishioners to see how they are doing. Moving through this pandemic will require each of us to support and uphold one another in prayer and Christian love. The staff of the Diocese are here to offer guidance and practical assistance, to the best of our ability. As we become aware of ways we can help, we will do so. We continue to pray for the clergy and people of the Diocese, and ask your prayers for us.

If you have questions or concerns about these guidelines, please contact the Rev’d Ann Turner at executivedirector@nspeidiocese.ca or 902-420-0717 or cell 782-641-1795

Peace and blessings,
