Parish of St. Johns Crapaud - Introduction
Welcome to the Anglican Parish of St. John’s Anglican Church
In a recent parish survey, parishioners described our church as a warm and inviting faith family that values inclusion, fellowship, and supporting one another—as well as those in need. Our Parochial Committee has prepared this Parish Profile to offer a snapshot of our faithful parish and vibrant community.
With our church only a short drive from the ocean, scenic trails, Charlottetown and Summerside, and more—we’re excited for our next Rector to discover why we love it here.
No matter where your journey of discernment leads you, we sincerely thank you for walking this far with us.
Yours in faith, The Parish of St. John’s Anglican Church, Crapaud

The Rector We Seek
We are looking for a spiritual leader whose life is spiritually led as shown through his/her lifestyle. We would like an individual who integrates well into and gets involved with the greater communities. We are looking for someone who is good with pastoral care and is also comfortable working with church councils.
We would like a spiritual leader that empowers those around him/her and leads by example. The ability to comfortably communicate from the pulpit and in more private settings is an asset. We are also looking for someone who is a “good listener” and is able to recognize situations when a parishioner is looking for someone to listen to his or her concerns or thoughts. We would like someone who encourages youth to become involved and participate in parish life. A flexible liturgical style and a sense of humor are important to our congregations.
We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and comfortable with delivery of Liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer and the Book of Alternative Services. We are also looking for someone who is willing to incorporate prayers or elements from other sources into worship services if they are appropriate. Musical ministry has become very important to our parish and we would like to see that this ministry is encouraged to grow and stays a regular part of our worship activities.
We are looking for a participatory leader that empowers the congregations to become involved with their churches. We feel that we need a leader who is very supportive, flexible and one who is able to problem solve.
Yours in faith, Parish of Milton and Rustico
