on the South Shore of Nova Scotia
The Parish of St. Luke’s, Hubbards, and the Parish of Blandford are seeking a fulltime Incumbent to serve our two neighbouring, coastal communities along Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore area and Aspotogan Peninsula. This appointment is a TWO-YEAR appointment in the first instance, structured as 75% with St. Luke’s Hubbards and 25% with the Parish of Blandford, with rectory provided in Blandford.

We are an aging but active parish, open to diverse liturgies alongside the BAS. A committed ministry team supports worship, pastoral care, music ministry, and community outreach. Worship includes weekly 10:45 a.m. services at St. Luke’s, bimonthly 9 a.m. services at St. Mark’s (Easter–Advent), winter worship in the Parish Hall, and a monthly Café Church. Community outreach includes the Two Coves Café, annual variety events, seasonal children’s programming, and partnered fundraisers.

We are deeply ecumenical. After a challenging hiatus, we are rebuilding ministries including choir, Bible study, Alongside Hope (formerly PWRDF) work, and community partnerships. We seek an Incumbent who brings compassion, stability, and visibility in community spaces. We value strong pastoral care, leadership that nurtures a children’s ministry, and engagement with retirees and newcomers.

This is a fulltime position with housing provided at the Blandford rectory (located near the coast).
