Several of our congregations are taking Ash Wednesday to the streets and parking lots! This ancient practice of the imposition of ashes, recognizing our humanity and need for God, can be shared with people who may have drifted from church or those who are seeking the sacred. 'Ashes to Go' in the community can offer a meaningful connection to Christian spirituality and the caring congregation who's offering it.
