Founded in 2012, Giving Tuesday is a global movement created to encourage generosity, service, and support for nonprofits. It follows the themed shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday and takes place each year on the Tuesday after U.S. Thanksgiving—this year, that’s December 2, 2025.
Giving Tuesday is more than a date on the calendar—it’s a day to do good in our communities and around the world. Churches everywhere are finding meaningful ways to participate in this global generosity movement.
Celebrate Giving Tuesday by encouraging people to share God’s love through their gifts.
