Here are the communities hosting camps for kids ages 6 to 12 this summer:
Wondering what a week of camp looks like?
Our camps are all unique, as they reflect the local community that they happen in, but they do tend to follow a pretty similar rhythm of each day being filled with worship, hearing a story, time to explore in create, discover, and play, community activities (things like learning a skill from someone in the community or going to a splash pad), and of course, lots of time for fun and games. Some of our camps are only half days, but here's an example of what a week of full day camp might look like.
Note: We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation throughout our diocese and updating our practices as appropriate. This is an ever evolving situation, and while we don't know what things will be like this summer, you can find information about our current practices here.
Our theme for this summer is Inside and Out, and we'll spend time exploring how we learn about ourselves, the world, and God.
All of our camps are FREE to attend, and are open to all children aged 6 to 12, regardless of whether or not they have any connection to church.
