Join in a low-pressure, weekly Zoom series designed specifically for working people during the rush of the season. Grab your lunch, log on, and let’s explore the surprising history and hidden backstories behind four of our most beloved holiday carols—from the ancient monastic chants of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel to the soaring, unexpected origins of Joy to the World.

Each week features a brief, fascinating look at how these songs were written, followed by a gentle, contemplative practice pairing the lyrics with a short reading. No homework, no lecture, and no prior experience needed—just a quiet space to breathe, step away from work, and pause during a busy week. Come for five minutes or stay for the whole half-hour.
This seasonal series is open to anyone – those who are retired, working, or students - and is suitable for folks with any or no church background.
Runs: Wednesdays
Time: - 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Dates: Nov. 25, Dec. 2, Dec. 9 and Dec. 16.
Diocesan facilitators:  Bev Middleton, Heather Carter and Joel Pratt.
