In all the excitement of the electoral synod on September 12, we didn't get to hear from our Bishop-Elect!  We reached out and asked her to record a short message to the diocese.

The Reverend Sandra Fyfe has been elected the next Anglican Bishop of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.  When consecrated bishop she will be the 17th person to hold the post.

Paying Homage to Archbishop Ron and his Episcopal Ministry Little did anyone imagine in the Anglican Diocese of NS PEI, or the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada (the 7 Anglican Dioceses of Eastern Canada from Montreal east), least of all Archbishop Ron himself, what his leave-taking would be like when he indicated in very early January 2020 his intent to retire from being both Diocesan and Metropolitan Bishop on July 31, 2020. Between these two dates of January and July, the world exploded with a pandemic that has brought church and state globally to its knees.
