SOUL FOOD?
SOUL FOOD? VCM Conference keynote speaker, Rev. Dr. Dawn Davis emphasized the importance of practicing spiritual disciplines in this swiftly changing season of Churchland. These devotions aid in listening to the Spirit and getting our faith (re)rooted. They may also be incorporated with Council and Committee meetings, as a way to help discern our next steps in missional ministry. Are you curious about learning and experiencing some of these faith practices? Let us know, we may host a series of Zoom sessions with special guests. Some examples are Anglican Prayer Beads, Wild Worship, Examen & Ignatian Spirituality, etc., etc.

KINGDOM COME - 2023
Every year the Church of England kicks off a campaign of mission-edged prayer called, Thy Kingdom Come. It is a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know and experience Christ. This 'global wave of prayer' starts May 18 and runs until May 28. This is a great way to energize long-time parishioners to PRAY, LISTEN and DISCERN how God is at work in our local neighbourhoods. There are a variety of resources, especially for community engagement, private or small group devotion and Sunday worship times. INCLUDES a free downloadable Novena Devotional, and MORE! https://www.thykingdomcome.global/ For more infomation visit: |
