Capella Regalisseeking transportation assistance Capella Regalis Choirs is a Canadian charity offering free choral music education in the Anglican choral tradition for interested boys and girls in the Halifax metro (HRM) area. They rehearse weekly at Saint Andrew’s United Church and regularly sing Choral Evensong and perform concerts at the Cathedral Church of All Saints, Halifax. As part of its efforts to be fully accessible to all children interested in joining the choirs, Capella Regalis runs a Transportation Program to help children who would not otherwise be able to participate get to and from weekly rehearsals. The need has recently grown, as more would-be choristers requiring transportation assistance express an interest in joining Capella Regalis! More drivers are needed to expand the Capella Regalis Transportation Program. Please consider whether this is a ministry you can offer. The time commitment is 1 – 2 hours a week. The rehearsals are Tuesday and Friday afternoons at St. Andrew's United Church, corner of Coburg and Robie, so pick-up is in the late afternoon of these days in the HRM. A criminal record check and proof of $2 million liability insurance are required. Please feel free to e-mail Vanessa (vhalley@capellaregalis.com) to learn more about the Capella Regalis Transportation Program in support of a fully accessible choral program for boys and girls.
