The Growth for Ministry Fund exists because of the financial stewardship of Anglican who have made planned gifts to the Diocese. The purpose is to enable the Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island to respond faithfully to God's call to minister to a wide field of mission:

The Diocesan Synod assists parishes by providing loans and mortgages for land acquisition, new construction, or repairs and renovations to parish property. The Fund may be used to provide loans or grants to develop and support parish ministries and parish programming.
This fund may be used for the establishment of missions within a Parish considered necessary for the work of the Church by the Bishop. The definition of mission applied in this situation is "a particular course of period of preaching, services, etc. undertaken by a parish.
Up to 100% of the requested amount may be applied for as a grant rather than a loan

The Parish has an idea, but it's financially out of reach. Aside from the sources available through the Diocese or National Church (identified above), there are hundreds of other sources available. Most have unique criteria and deadlines, any which might change. Each needs careful review.
