DESCRIPTION:Neighbour Week  (June 21-27\, 2026) is all about celebrating 
 the small acts that help build stronger neighbourhood connections - saying
  hello\, sharing a treat\, hosting a small gathering\, helping a neighbour
  or creating a simple opportunity for people to meet.\nIf you are planning
  an activity\, we encourage you to register your event by the end of th
 e day on Thursday\, June 18\, for a chance to win a Sobey's gift card to u
 se towards your event.\nYou can also add your event to the Neighbour Wee
 k Interactive map so others can find activities happening nearby. The map
  is also a great way to explore what other neighbourhoods are planning an
 d get inspired by events and activities happening across the municipality.

 l toolkits and resources.\nTo celebrate Neighbour Week\, the community dev
 eloper's team is also hosting a FREE Micro-Neighbourliness workshop that
  explores how you can harness the transformational power of small acts of 
 neighbourliness to cultivate the supportive\, connected neighbourhood you 
 dream of. It is designed for both individuals and organizations with a cur
 iosity about how small acts can activate your neighbourhood. The workshop 
 is on Tuesday\, June 23\, 6:30-8:30 at the Halifax Common Multipurpose Ro
 om. Registration is required\; visit www.Halifax.ca/neighbourweek for ho
 w to sign up.\nWhether you are hosting an event\, joining an activity\, or
  simply making an effort to connect with someone nearby\, every small act
