Kennon L. Callahan, B.A., M.Div., S.T.M., Ph.D.

         
 Kennon Callahan, Ph.D. - pastor, researcher, and professor -  is today's most sought-after church consultant and speaker.  He has worked with thousands of congregations around the world and has helped tens of thousands of church leaders and pastors.  His dynamic seminars are filled with wisdom and encouragement, practical possibilities and helpful suggestions.

          Author of many books, he is best known for his ground-breaking Twelve Keys to an Effective Church, which has formed the basis for a widely acclaimed Mission Growth Movement, which is helping congregations across the planet.

          Dr. Callahan has earned the B.A., M.Div., S.T.M. and Ph.D. degrees.  His doctorate is in Systematic Theology.  He has served as a pastor of rural and urban congregations in Ohio, Texas, and Georgia.  He taught for many years at Emory University. 

          His newest book is The Future That Has Come.  Other recent books include  Twelve Keys for Living,  A New Beginning for Pastors and Congregations,  and Small Strong Congregations.

          He and his wife, Julia, grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  They have two sons, Ken and Mike, and three grandchildren.  They enjoy the outdoors, hiking, horseback riding, camping, music, sailing and quilting.
