Leadership Training
There are now four workshops available to train parish leaders in stewardship concepts. As of January 2008 all four workshops have been delivered at least once. Many updates and changes have been made in response to suggestions from attendees. The content continues to evolve as attendees use the materials in their parishes and provide additional feedback.
Workshops that are available are as follows. Please keep in mind that the linked agendas are only our templates. If other issues or questions are identified by the region, the actual agenda may look quite different.
The workshops are designed to be delivered on a Saturday from about 10 AM to 3 PM. In some cases we have gone to a region to do a 2 hour introductory session before starting the full workshop series.

Attendees are expected to return to the parish to undertake stewardship work - the workshops are not just for personal learning, although many people have found them to be good opportunities to do that. Although we are delivering the workshops regionally, the material is intended and designed to be used at a parish level by the people who are coming to the workshops to learn about stewardship. Attendees try out and get copies of many available resources and activities they can undertake in their own parishes without being super-experts about stewardship.
It is the intent of the workshops to promote the creation of a stewardship team in each parish, rather than just one person. It can be lonely being the only one on the 'stewardship bandwagon'!
