- The founded in 1856, is a world-wide Anglican outreach ministry.
- Our mission is to promote the spiritual, moral and physical well-being of Seafarers and their families world-wide.
- The Halifax Mission to Seafarers was founded in 1942 to serve seafarers working on the convoys deploying from Halifax. Various chaplains had been carrying out ministry since as early as 1932 but not under the name of Mission to Seafarers.
