Tenebrae @ the Cathedral on Holy Wednesday
April 12, 9:00pm, 1330 Cathedral Lane
The King's College Chapel invites you to enter into the darkness of Holy Week. Tenebrae is an ancient monastic service of psalms and antiphons, and derives its name from the Latin word for "darkness" or "shadows." The service is sung and entirely candlelit. The King's Chapel Choir sings the Lamentations of Jeremiah by Thomas Tallis.
