KAIROS, the social justice arm of 11 Christian churches including the Anglican Church of Canada, has responded to Justice Murray Sinclair’s Calls To Action following the final report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission by asking congregations to sign a petition calling on Provincial Governments to make mandatory from kindergarten to Grade 12 courses about the history of First Nations peoples, and their contributions past and present along with the story of residential schools.
