THE 300 FUND - LAY MINISTRY LEGACY

The Offering at the June 6th Celebration Service will go to "The 300 Fund - Lay Ministry Legacy". Special Offering envelopes will be available in the Service Bulletin for you to use. They will also be available in Parishes starting in May for those who may not be attending the Service but wish to contribute to this special Fund.-, as well as those who may wish to write their cheque before attending the Service. Receipts will be issued. Donations made in the Parish can go through the Parish's books and a receipt issued at the end of the year. Donations received at the June 6th Service will have receipts issued from the Diocesan Office.

WHAT IS IT? The 2010 Committee hopes to leave as a gift an Endowment Fund which will help Lay People in developing their ministries by attending courses which are provided, or simply attending other programs of interest on parish related matters. At this moment there are funds to help the Clergy, but none specifically for Lay People. What better way to express our thanks and appreciation to our dedicated Lay People than to help them further their ministries which will benefit us all. We hope you will join us in this endeavour by your contribution.
